Corporate Agriculture Farming

Government should distribute the land among landless farmers' and provide them necessary facilities to develop it rather allocating the land to multi-national corporations. The one third of people of Pakistan is undernourished and one fourth of children are facing malnutrition. The hunger in Pakistan is located in rural areas, where land resources are controlled by few big land owners. These remarks were made during one day seminar on " implications of Corporate Agriculture Farming on Small Farmers", organized by Pakistan Kissan Ittehad, Sustainable Agriculture Action Group and Community Development Organization Swabi at Peshawar with the collaboration of Actionaid International Pakistan.
